Privacy Policy
Wedding Speech Draft is operated by ZL Norman Labs. This page explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. We try to collect as little as possible.
What we store
When you use the speech form, we store the inputs you provide — your role, the couple's names, and the stories or details you share — so we can generate your speech and let you make revisions later from your permanent link. If you complete a purchase, we store the email address you provide at checkout so we can deliver your speech and handle support requests. To limit free previews per visitor, we store a one-way hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of its network prefix) combined with a random value that changes every day. The address itself isn't saved with your speech, and each day's random value is deleted after two days, after which the stored hashes can no longer be matched to any address. It isn't used to identify or track you.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of processors to run the service, and each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe — processes your $12 payment. We never receive or store your card details; Stripe handles that directly.
- Resend — sends your fulfillment email with your permanent speech link.
- Anthropic — generates your speech text from the details you provide.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-respecting challenge that helps us block automated abuse of the free preview, without tracking you across other sites.
- Self-hosted analytics — we run our own analytics (Umami) on our own infrastructure to understand traffic, rather than sending visitor data to a third-party ad or tracking network.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't share the contents of your speech with anyone besides the processors listed above, which we use solely to operate the service you asked for.
Deletion
You can request deletion of your speech content and purchase information at any time by replying to your receipt or confirmation email. We'll remove what we have on file, aside from records we're legally required to retain (for example, payment records for tax purposes).
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page with a new effective date.
